MHM Foundation
Full Rebrand
This project began with a series of surveys to churches who had loans with The Mountain Sky United Methodist Foundation. Surveys determined attitudes towards denominational regulations effecting the foundation’s mission. With the survey results, we began facilitations for the foundation’s board members, using methods of Appreciative Inquiry.
In partnership with board committees, we developed a new name, brand identity, and style guide. With a strategic communication plan, the new brand was launched, using email marketing, printed materials, social media graphics, and explainer videos that we had designed.

ABOUT
I’m husband to my lovely wife, Joie, and proud father to our 6 kiddos living here in the midwest. I grew up with free reign of my family’s home video camera, shooting funny movies and animating shorts and stop motion videos with my sisters and friends. I got a few photography certifications right out of high school and then I briefly attended IWU and studied design and alternative process photography there… which I absolutely loved (it being one of the only schools left with fully functioning dark rooms at the time). I worked part-time as an interiors and architectural photographer, traveling regularly and the rest of my professional energy building portrait and video freelancing with a local creative community.
I took a position with a faith-based non-profit as their creative director for 3 years. Then, with the help of a mentor and my dad, simultaneously launched Reformer House (a co-working creative agency) and started work as VP of Productions at Sextons Creek Productions. We grew the productions division over the period of 4 years and then I moved over to Reformer House full-time in 2020. In 2024, I joined the team at Marion Design Co.
I am obsessed with storytelling, still infatuated with film and alternative process photography, and I'm a typography-nerd. Please reach out if you have any questions or could use any more specific examples of work, and thanks for your consideration.
